Tivian & Sam * Engagement

Sunday, September 30th, 2007

Tivian and Sam contacted me a couple of months ago and asked me if I could do their engagement pictures - I was so flattered! They were the first couple that sought me out after viewing my first engagement shoot.  We went to La Jolla Cove and LJ shores on Saturday and it was a GORGEOUS day! Tivian and Sam are such a fun couple to hang out with…totally down to earth.  I’m so excited for the marriage ahead of them - I think they’ll be a great team - and you’ll see why…

first stop - crab catcher

Then as we walked around, we saw this awesome yellow wall…

So I suggested that we’ll do some jumping shots.  Sam immediately started planning on how they should jump…

As you can see, Sam was telling Tivian what they should do.  Well, with great planning comes great result!

Sam busted out some ninja move while guiding his lady walking through the rocks.

And last but not least, my signature San Diego sunset beach shot!

Thanks Sam and Tivian! You guys are super fun to hang out with! You guys will have some great years together!

Steve and Joyce * Wedding

Thursday, September 27th, 2007

One of my good friends, Joyce, just got married a few weeks ago at Point Loma Oceanview Room!

She was literally glowing that day!

and here’s Joyce’s sister and her maid of honor, Grace, who was also my roommate for 2 years!

Joyce’s parents flew in all the way from Korea, where they are currently doing some missionary work!

beautiful ceremony site

Steve looks just as happy as Joyce!

the ceremony was filled with laughters as well as special quiet moments such as this:

first dance.

an uninvited guest joined the party!

everyone was having a great time! no joke.

the expressions on those ladies faces are pricesless! (notice the two on the right who were shocked by the aggressiveness of other ladies…)

It was a great celebrations of the union of two great people! I love Steve and Joyce!

BunnyFest and June

Wednesday, September 26th, 2007

This weekend, we took June out to the annual Bunny Fest, hosted by San Diego Rabbit Society. This is my favorite event of the year! It’s the time of the year where I can meet house rabbits owners around San Diego and most of us would take our bunnies with us!! This year was especially exciting for me because I entered 3 photos of bun buns and Hops, each to a different category, to a bunny photo contest. The result? I won the FIRST PRIZE in the category of ‘pigging out’. Here’s the winning picture:

I got a $25 certificate to HRS supply store, which will help lighten up my financial burden in feeding my 3 constantly hungry rabbits. Of course I didn’t bring bun buns and Hops there. Bun buns is not doing well (although she’s doing much better now) and Hops is just constantly moody. Wouldn’t be very fun to take them out. June on the other hand, really enjoyed the afternoon. And of course, I had to take advantage of the fact that we were out at such a beautiful setting - Heritage Park at Old Town!

I just love the reflection on her eye! You must check out the bigger version of the picture! You can see me and Daniel in her eye!!

here’s Cindy and June

of course little June got all thirsty after working so hard posing in front of the camera in the sun!!

Rabbits are such cool pets!! There are a ton of cute rabbits that need a loving home. Check out the adoption page on HRS and you can come to Bunnyfest with us next year!
