Betty & Alex picked the best day of the year to get married - on my birthday! It was definitely one of the best birthdays I’ve had. Alex and Betty are good friends of ours so it was really exciting for me to help document their wedding.

I had the privilege to follow Betty around in the morning as she got ready. I love this part! It’s as though I have a backstage pass to see how everything gets put together.

The ceremony took place at Ryerson United Church in Vancouver BC.

And their banquet took place at Vivacity Restaurant.

Betty and Alex - thanks for much for letting me be a huge part of your wedding day! I will see you guys again in a couple of weeks at your S.Cal banquet!

We proudly present to you…Betty and Alex.

We had a wonderful engagement session with Cynthia and Raphael over the weekend. Their wedding is coming up really soon and I’m really excited for them.

We first stopped by a school playground where Raphael proposed to Cynthia. This is almost the exact spot where he proposed to her! How sweet.

Their dogs Parker and Charlie came to the park with them.

Cynthia’s sister came along to take care of the dogs so we could proceed without the cute doggies following their mom and dad. For awhile they just wanted to play with Cynthia and Raphael. It was really cute.

We then headed over to Balboa Park for some more pictures.

Every time I see this picture, the song “I believe I can fly” starts playing in my head.

The moon came out right when we were finishing up!

I’ll see them in a couple of weeks again. Can’t wait!

My good friend Sam is going to have a baby! Her doctor said that the baby is ready to come out anytime now. What an exciting news for all of us. Even though a lot of my close friends already have children, they are all living elsewhere so I wasn’t able to be there for them. So I’m really excited to be close to Sam during this season of her life!

remember Saffron? I posted some pictures of her awhile back. Guess she’ll have to learn how to share the love with the baby soon.

We had a gorgeous afternoon today.

Those of us who know Sam and Trevor would know that they are really young at heart.

Daniel took care of Saffron while I was working with Sam and Trevor.

LOL.
