My sister in law got married last week! :) I know she’s been checking my blog to see if her pictures are up…well here they are! I hope they do her wedding justice. Her wedding was beautiful. She was beautiful!

Her dress is no doubt the prettiest dress I’ve ever seen! As our friend Justin said, “Victoria, you won the best dress of the year award!”

Victoria is a big fan of the color green so naturally, her wedding color is green. I love it! Green is also one of my favorite colors too - along with orange, brown, and pink…haha.

This little flower girl is only two years old! She did great walking down the aisle though, as you shall see tomorrow when I post pictures of the ceremony.

Here’s Victoria getting some last minute touch up before heading out. The train of her dress is gorgeous!

Jennilyn & Steve * engagement story * La Jolla Shores

Sunday, June 29th, 2008

Thoughtfulness. What is thoughtfulness? It’s basically just thinking about a person. It’s thinking about what makes her smile, what gets her excited, what would make her happy. Sometimes, it’s just thinking about how beautiful she is. I love it when I know Daniel is thinking about me.

Steve has been thinking about how to make this particular day special for about a month…and his thoughtfulness paid off yesterday when she said yes to marry him!

Steve asked me to document the whole engagement story for him and Jennilyn. What a honor it is for me to be a part of something this special! Click here see the slideshow of the engagement story. It was definitely a job well done by Steve!

Congrats my friends!

Andrea & Craig * Wedding * Japanese Friendship Garden

Friday, June 27th, 2008

Finally, I am ready to share with you the rest of the photos from their amazing wedding! With the help of Sharaye from What A Wedding!, everything ran smoothly without a glitch.

Don’t you just love these lanterns? Their friends and families did a great job hanging them up all over.

Their wedding took place at Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park. Beautiful venue.

The flower girl was sooooo cute! She literally ran down the aisle and rushed over to her dad!

These wedding programs really came in handy under the ninety degree sunlight!

We took a few more pictures of Andrea and Craig after the ceremony. :) I just couldn’t resist the late, golden afternoon sunlight.

My favorite moment of the day was Andrea & Craig’s ‘first dance’. They didn’t have a traditional first dance where they dance alone with everyone else watching them. Instead, they invited all the couples to dance with them on the dance floor. It was such a beautiful scene when all the couples started dancing around them. It looked as though they have found each other in the sea of people.

Maybe it was the music…I don’t know…but I almost teared up when I took these shots! I just thought it was so romantic…

and so sweet.

Andrea & Craig - congrats again! :) Thank you so much for inviting me and Daniel to document your wedding day. Thank you for being so trusting and flexible when we asked you to stand and sit in weird places! You guys are so perfect for each other and we wish you guys many years of happiness and awesome photography adventures!

Andrea & Craig

Wednesday, June 25th, 2008

Since Andrea and Craig got married at the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park, it only made sense that we took advantage of the beautiful park ground.

and nothing screams ‘Balboa Park’ more than a bridal group photo in front of the fountain.

fountain group shot.

It’s totally Andrea’s idea to take a group shot at the follow location. What a great idea!

A few more with just Andrea and Craig alone…
