Andrea

When I was a kid, I’ve always thought that cello is the coolest string instrument. When I got into 7th grade, our school required every student to learn at least one instrument. Even though I already play the piano, I really wanted to pick up another instrument so I could try out for the school’s orchestra later on. I was seriously considering picking cello. When I told my parents about my choice, they atomically rejected it - it’s too big and it’s not at all practical (they think that piano is the most practical instrument).

Andrea - though she’s years than me, I think my 12 year old self would have seriously admired her so much. I admire her talent now even as an adult! Not only is she a talented cellist…and she’s just so cute! It was so wonderful to spend an afternoon with her at Old Poway Park.

I couldn’t resist from taking a couple of detail shots of her cello. :) It is such a beautiful instrument!

I like this one too.

She was really playing as I took this shot…which attracted two young men to come by, sit down and listen to her. haha

cello is awesome! I remember in high school i kinda regret choosing violin. haha If I had known about other instrutment, I would have tell mom that i wanted to play cello too. and they probably would reject that idea to me as well. How terrible that they said it’s too big so you should learn how to play it. Piano is a very practical instrument though i have to say. the only problem is that you can’t carry it wherever you go.

I love this set! She makes me wish to be a high school senior again… and wish to be as cute and cool as her. :) Great job capturing the essence of her!
