Winter wonderland in March…in S.Cal!

Yes, it is possible to play in snow even when you live in Southern California! :)  I often complain that there is only one season in S.Cal but it’s not true.  I just need to drive 2 or 3 hours up to the mountain and I can get all the winter I want! :)

This past weekend, a group of us went up to Big Bear for a much needed retreat.  We laughed and cried and had a ridiculous amount of fun together.  I love my friends!

We stayed at this amazing house owned by someone we know. We are so lucky!!

We arrived late on Friday night so we couldn’t really see anything.  We didn’t even think that there would still be so much snow around so imagine our excitement when we woke up the next morning!   The house is also super close to the lake – we could see the Big Bear Lake from the house.  Here are some shots that I took from the dock.

I love using tilt shift to take landscape shots.

Here are some random shots that I took while we took a trip to Vons to restock our food supplies. I love nature & I love shooting landscape whenever I can.

I wish we could have spent a few more days there!  :)

Goodbye snow mountain! Til next year…
