Mike & Michelle had a fabulous wedding at Diamond View Tower in San Diego downtown! We shot a wedding there last year too and loved the location! The view is gorgeous – it over looks San Diego bay, downtown and petco park. And Amanda, the event coordinator at Diamond View Tower is so awesome to work with! :)
But my favorite part of the wedding is that it was filled with so many beautiful moments between Michelle and Mike.
So here I present to you – Michelle and Mike’s wedding story through the lens of Orange Turtle!

The great thing about shooting in downtown is that there are so many cool, urban background for group picture. I esp love the reflection of the buildings in the above picture.
The road was blocked that day due to a special event – which gave us some awesome photo opportunities!
Their cake topper is so adorable! Michelle is a big cupcake lover! So of course they had cupcakes for their wedding!
They are so pretty, I didn’t mind take a few more shots of them!
Their rooftop wedding. The light was completely back-lit and was pretty tough, but I love how the light make the images warm and soft.

I know it’s another cake shot. But the colors are even prettier at night with all the candle lights…and the city lights in the background. :)
Michelle’s little cousin sang while she had her father-daughter dance. It was so sweet!

Seeing this old couple dancing cheek to cheek makes me want to go ‘awwwwwww’. :)
This was one of our last shots of the night. I always want to end our photography coverage with a shot of our bride & groom – and here it is!!
Michelle and Mike also hired Phil Paik Studios to set up a photobooth (yeah, we don’t do photobooth at weddings). It was so fun and the images turned out awesome! Phil (from Paik Studios) ran the photobooth himself and he got so many cool props for us to play with!
