Orange Turtle bridal show booth

What a crazy weekend we had!! As many of you know, we have been prepping for this bridal show for a while.   Both Daniel and I are people who are passionate about what we do.  When we are committed to do something, we want to go ALL IN.  We hate doing things half heartedly and end up having a mediocre result.  We knew that we wanted to create something that will inspire us (and hopefully others) and that’s not going to be easy!  With the help of many wonderful talented friends (especially Eric and Cindy), we had an awesome booth that totally exceeded our original expectation.  We couldn’t be more happy about it!  So many people at the bridal show (exhibitors, brides, and even people who work at the Hard Rock Hotel) came up to us and told us how awesome the booth is.  Some even told us that it’s their favorite booth of the whole entire show!

This was us on the day before the show before anything was set up. :)

We were almost done setting up the booth at this point. Daniel and Eric were working on installing lighting on the top of the wall.

My pretty (and sometimes silly) sister in law!

The final product!!  We seriously put in so much heart and sweat in this booth.  We are very happy to see that the booth really represents who we are!!

The trunk under the table is a military trunk from the WWII era.  It was covered in a dark military green before.  I sanded the whole thing down, painted it white and sanded down the buckles.  My friend Cindy then distressed trunk to give it a more rustic look.  Here’s a closer look of the trunk. I took this pic at home two days before the show.

Our table top decorations along with our sample albums.

I was going to buy an arm chair but decided that I don’t have that kind of money in the budget. So instead, I repainted this folding chair which I got years ago from IKEA and dress it up with a pillow I got from World Market.  It worked!!

The door was such a huge hit! It’s such an unique element and it also created a focal point for the booth.  I even snuck a picture of June on it. :)

Below: a before pic of the small table from the picture above. It wasn’t all pretty and white when I bought it.  My friend Cindy was sanding the table down so we could spray paint it ivory white later.

After!!  Now it’s my favorite piece of furniture!

Here’s a picture of the whole set up crew (plus my dad who was behind the camera)!!  We couldn’t have done it without their generous help.

Thank you friends for visiting our booth on Sunday!  It means so much to us that you stopped by and said hi.  Well I’m really glad that this project is over!  Now my living room can finally be reverted back to its normal state!!

Cindy Brown | Atlanta Wedding Photographer Love it. What are the orange walls made from? Looks like they come in pieces and are easy to put together. True or False?
