An Easter giveaway!

Easter is coming up this Sunday! Growing up, Easter has always been one of my favorite ‘holidays’.  I grew up in Asia so we didn’t have (as least back then) Easter egg hunts or anything like that.  But my Sunday school teachers would always give us chocolate easter eggs as gifts!! As a kid who almost never got any candies from her parents, Easter is an occasion where I could get candies elsewhere and eat them before my parents found out about them! :)

As I grow older and older (and older…), Easter remains as one of my favorite holidays.  The Easter season in Southern California is especially beautiful with wild flower blooming everywhere.  To me, that’s a symbols of new life as I remember the resurrection of my Lord Jesus Christ.  :)  Easter season is also the time where bunny themed products are displayed EVERYWHERE!  As a bunny lover, I just love how there’s bunny-cuteness all around me.

Because I want to do my part to spread more bunny-cuteness around, I am giving away a big print of June!!

Here’s a picture of the actual print.  It’s 16×20 and about 2mm thick. It has a glossy finish.  No framing is needed.  :)

This picture is taken last year on an Easter shoot that I collaborated with the ever-so-awesome Julie Cruz of Lot116.com and her adorable daughter PJ.  You can check out the pictures I took of PJ & June here.  It is still one of my favorite shoots ever!!!

bethany - oooooh! i would LOVE this picture of june… and while i love june (& your june-themed posts), i would be more excited to give this to my friend cassandra who absolutely LOVESSSSS bunnies & june!!! =)

Marjorie Deacon - Bunnies are adorable, yes… but June is freakin’ adorable! What a cute leetle booooooonie wabbit!!!! Awwwwww… I think I would hold on to the cute picture of June and give her to my inlaws for letting us live in their house.

Cassandra - I’m Bethany’s friend! :) All my friends know I have a special affinity for bunnies. And I love seeing your posts about June and bunny festivals and what not. Please send her to me… I would hang her in my office at work, so whenever I have a bad day , I can look at her and have my day brightened up.

Alexis Snyder - I am a fan of June because I am a child and we see the world with a special point of view. If I am so lucky to win the drawing, I will ask my Mom and Dad to hang June’s photo in the upstairs playroom of our new home in Oakland.

Iris Hicks - June is so adorable. It’s impossible not to be her fan. If I won this treasure I would hang in the art gallery that I have created in my long hallway that goes from the front to the back of my house. Everyone who comes to visit me would be able to visit June too.

Janina Wills - I love June! She is a reminder of what a wonderful holiday Easter is and one holiday I hold dear in my heart. We never celebrated Easter growing up either. There are no memories of Easter baskets and chocolate covered bunnies for me, but there is one particular Easter memory I will always cherish. When we moved here from the Philippines I went to an Easter party, I was about 5 years old. I ended up winning the grand prize, a huge basket full of goodies. It was almost as big as me! All I had to do was pick a number between 1 – 100. I picked 5. From this day on it has always been my lucky number. It’s been my number growing up playing on various sports teams. Having two little girls I’ve started our family easter egg hunt. I want the girls to have wonderful memories of Easter. If I won this beautiful print, I would hang it in my office at work. So when I’m deep in “work” I can look up and smile.

Solange H. - JUNE is super. duper cute!! :) I’ve always loved this shoot that you and Julie did! Everytime I look at them, I always smile! :) I use to have a bunny when I was younger, but my parents made me give her away because I couldn’t take care of her. JUNE reminds me so much of her! And the little pellets she left after eating carrots! LOL! If I won this, I would hang it in my office or my kitchen area! <3

natalie - june is beautiful and you take beautiful photos! if i won this drawing, i would be super happy, b/c i know it would bless many a person! i would likely give it to either my friend annie (who really loves bunnies but is too busy right now to dedicate enough time and love to one) or else to a couple at my church getting married who seem to love the color yellow! and the story you narrate here about reminding us of Jesus and His resurrection hope is beautiful. i know either of them would vastly appreciate it. i too would love this painting and could find a spot for it in our own apartment, but i honestly thought first of either of these two recipients.

Natalee - Oh, June reminds me of my bunny I had as a child. I had her for years! And her name was Mr. Rabbit! Yep, MISTER Rabbit. She didn’t seem to mind much and I loved her! This picture would go perfect in my craft room. I have just the spot!
