It’s been pretty quiet here on the blog lately! I think it’s about time to have a personal post! Last time I posted about Cassidy was back in December. When she turned 4 months a few weeks ago, I did a mini shoot with her. I try to do a mini shoot with her every month. Nothing too fancy though. I just want to document her growth since she is growing up so fast. A lot of my friends asked if I’ve been taking gazillion pictures of her since you know, I’m a photographer. I honestly think that I don’t take that many photos of her…I feel like I should be taking more!! I literally only take pictures of her with our DSLR once a month. For the rest of the time I just take pictures with my iphone.
But here’s a few ‘professional’ photos of Cassidy.
And since she can start sitting up with the help of the bumbo, I want to get some shots of her and June together. :) Until then they had little to none interactions with each other. So imagine the excitement when I was witnessing and capturing their first real interactions with each other!
A lot of people have asked me what camera or lens I use for personal, day to day photography. My answer has always been iphone! I have an iphone 4s and this little phone camera is pretty darn good. Sure I can’t get the buttery blurry background that I love, but I get a pretty high quality image that is good enough for big print. That’s good enough for me! The best part is – it’s my phone and I have to bring it to wherever I go anyway!
Here are some iphone pictures of us visiting the beach earlier this month. San Diego is absolutely the best.
We got shaved ice. It didn’t taste that great but it was fun.
I love her so much!
