How do you identify your primary photographic style?
Our style is called editorial photography which is primarily what you would find in typical magazines on newstands. It is a combination of photojournalistic and traditional styles. Basically, we do posing and directing so you don’t feel lost. We’ll look for the best backgrounds and most beautiful scenes–in that way we’re traditional. We make it look candid and natural as if we weren’t posing or directing. We won’t interfere in your wedding day–in that way we’re photojournalistic.
Please describe any special techniques you offer:
All of our photographs are post processed with color in mind. We love vibrant color and color is our specialty. Some photographs however do look better in an antique tone or in black and white. We provide those also at our discretion. Who do add textures and vignetting occasionally in order to give the photograph a different feel, but color is our main gig.
Which lighting situations do you have experience with?
We have experience in all sorts of lighting situations. We shoot mainly with prime lenses, alowing us to get the most light out of dark churches. When we shoot in bright direct sunlight, we get the most color and love that those situations also. On overcast days, the sunlight is nice and diffuse, getting rid of harsh shadows and making great portraits.
