Melissa and Frank are native Californians from Sacramento but they moved to South Carolina for school. This summer, Frank had an opportunity to come out to San Diego for an internship. What a great opportunity huh? I mean, who doesn’t want to live in San Diego? I’m so glad that they found me through a mutual friend so we could meet up for an maternity shoot!

They wanted to have an engagement session style type of photo shoot. So not every single photo focuses on her belly.

These two are going to be happy happy parents!

Even when I was a kid, I love seeing old pictures of my own mom and dad when they were young. I’m sure their little boy will appreciate these pictures of his mom and dad…in a few years!

A few weeks have passed by since I shot a maternity session for my friends Sam and Trevor, who were expecting the arrival of their baby girl. Last week, Asha finally came out her the mommy’s tummy! She is one gorgeous baby!

*yawn*!! She must have been so tired from all the hard work of being born!

Baby Asha, welcome to the colorful, beautiful, though sometimes scary world. Your mom and dad will love you and spoil you til the end. You are so dearly loved by all of us!

My good friend Sam is going to have a baby! Her doctor said that the baby is ready to come out anytime now. What an exciting news for all of us. Even though a lot of my close friends already have children, they are all living elsewhere so I wasn’t able to be there for them. So I’m really excited to be close to Sam during this season of her life!

remember Saffron? I posted some pictures of her awhile back. Guess she’ll have to learn how to share the love with the baby soon.

We had a gorgeous afternoon today.

Those of us who know Sam and Trevor would know that they are really young at heart.

Daniel took care of Saffron while I was working with Sam and Trevor.
